Tulip's Sashiko World embroidery kits contain everything you need to embroider using the Japanese Sashiko technique. In ancient Japan, clothes were reinforced or repaired by sewing several layers of fabric together with decorative stitches, while today the Sashiko technique is mainly used for decorative purposes. The embroidered fabric can be hung on the wall as a decorative piece, but it can also be used as a cover for a cushion or a bread basket, for example.
The piece to be embroidered measures 34 x 34 cm.

Sashiko thread in bright colors
1 x Tulip Sashiko Needle measuring 42.9mm in length and 0.91mm in thickness
