Odysseus is, like its big brother Gilliatt , a carded wool yarn made from a mixture of French white Arles merinos (Provence) and Portuguese black merinos (Alentejo valley) raised with concern for animal welfare and the recovery of their wool.
All the stages of manufacture of this yarn are carried out in a short circuit (Belgium or Italy for washing, France for spinning and dyeing) with a constant desire for traceability and reduction of its impact on the environment.
Composed of two well-twisted strands, it is a light, soft and delicately fluffy yarn that will be perfect for trying out jacquard, imagining fine cables or showcasing a prettily rustic lace.
It is available in natural colors from the mixture of brown and white fleeces ("salt", "white pepper", "pepper and salt" and "pepper"), and in a palette of subtly mottled dyed colors.
Hand wash recommended in lukewarm water with mild detergent. Dry flat (tumble dryer prohibited).
