Baby alpaca is a very soft wool, this fine fiber contains microscopic air pockets which make it very light while being 5 times warmer than a classic wool. Baby alpaca does not scratch because it does not contain lanolin and the structure of its fiber is very flexible. Baby alpaca fibers are strong and elastic. You can knit it by hand or machine, weave it or felt it.
