Worsted – Knitting collection chosen by Aimée Gille from La Bien Aimée, presents 14 knitwear patterns designed by 10 extraordinary designers. Each has its own style and appeals to all types of knitters. They are collected in this book which offers a magnificent and coherent selection. You will find clothes (sweaters and cardigans) and accessories (shawls and hats) as well as techniques ranging from stripes to jacquard, passing through cables and textured stitches.

Aimee Gilles was born and raised in Kansas, USA, before moving to France, where her passion for knitting was rekindled. She lives with her family in Paris, and it is there that she opened L'OisiveThé, a wonderful knitting café, then later La Bien Aimée, a wool brand offering beautiful hand-dyed yarns, sold in the whole world.

With Worsted , Aimée wanted to bring joy and bring people together around knitting. During the difficult eighteen months that we have just experienced, she found comfort in delving into the creation of her new yarn base, Corrie Worsted, which inspired the models presented in this book, all knitted with this yarn. .

As Aimée herself says: “I hope you will embark on the adventure by carrying out one of the projects presented here, either with wool preciously preserved in your stock, or by mixing Corrie Worsted audaciously with other yarns . »
